Becky had a difficult time falling asleep that night in her new bed in the new room in the new house and after all the effort she went to to get to sleep, she'd woken up not much long after from a terrible nightmare that she couldn't quite remember except that she'd been scared and in pain.

Becky was sitting in the now empty living room, sipping take-out coffee and looking over the paint samples that she'd picked up on a whim. That was something her and JJ had talked about as they walked around the houses that Jim had narrowed down. It was something to do and she scribbled down some ideas for the main rooms. Around her, the easily packed apartment was slowly emptying as a couple of movers took the furniture out. They'd have to go buy more because there was only one bed and three of them.

Becky had lost the fight over sleeping arrangements pretty badly last night. Maybe she should scrap the whole 'Chirp' nickname for JJ and call her 'Steamroller' instead because that girl? Did not stop. Becky thought some of it might border on disrespectful kind of behavior but JJ wasn't her kid so there wasn't use thinking about that. So there she was in JJ's room, sitting on the bed and looking at the little collection of jewelry that she'd have to sell.

Monday had been entirely too busy for Felix to confront her, but with the Founder's Day celebration going on in the city (was it really already February?), work had been cut to a half day and thus the perfect time for Felix to have a 'talk' with her.
