Who: Amelie, Roy, and open to all!
Where: Fontaine Park
When: 6:00 P.M. and on
She’d wanted a tour of the city, and had explored fragments of it on her own, but seeing so many disparate efforts come together like this had Amelie realizing just how much there still was to be discovered. The park was a vibrant thing, alive and thrumming with occupants milling around the greens and fountain, grouping near the bandshell, and flowing along the impromptu avenues of vendors.

The suit wasn’t his best, but considering how his best suit looked now, it probably was now. It fit well though and while it had taken work, he’d manged to scrub off the worst of the grime that usually covered his hands and cheeks. His hair was as close as he could get to it being under control, but it still fell in his eyes a little.

(briefly nsfw)
He’d tried to stay away. Maybe what Eily had said was right, maybe it was a bad idea, but he’d thought about it all day, even when there were other distractions, reading the articles in the paper over and over again had him too worried about her to leave it alone. Knowing that he’d spoken with the Tyger was unsettling enough, knowing he’d killed again... Mickey knew well enough that there was a small window to get to December before she shut down for good and he couldn’t miss that.

He’d spent the day before staying as busy as possible, from sneaking out of Shoshannah and Elle’s apartment as soon as he woke up, starting first to see if he could lend a hand with the power in their building then making the rounds around Little Haven where he was called. He’d patched up more than one thing, fixed a few leaks and even stopped in on the gallery to make sure it was in decent shape.

Eric was ready, as ready as he could be. His arm was stronger, still healing but reliable, and his plans were set. Routes had been walked, schedules noted, backup plans established. Really, he could’ve moved tonight if all he needed was a finalized plan, but if this was the last piece of the puzzle? It needed to have both sides defined, Eric and the Tyger.

The doctor is in. If you've got a fork in the road you're waffling over, your life is in a shambles, or you're a whiney wishywashy bitch who needs a good kick in the pants, write down your situation and deposit it here. Sign with anything that isn't your name. Your answer will be written up within 24 hours, and left behind the bar. Just ask for the envelope with the 'name' you signed with.

Getting drunk hadn't been as tall an order as Mickey thought it might be and in what seemed like no time he was more than pleasantly buzzed. The fact that he was still damp wasn't bothering him as much, evident by the broad smile on his features as he reached for the refill from the bartender. "To...what was it? Whims?" he asked December, holding the glass up for a toast.

At this point Mickey was drenched. He’d been recruited to help down on the Boardwalk, setting things up against the flood, dropping sandbags around where they could, boarding up a few windows and carrying things away from the water line. All of it would have been a decent bit of work if he wasn’t having to do the whole thing in the rain. His hair was plastered to his face and dripping in his eyes as he tried to reinforce another spot, despite the fact that he had to keep pushing the wet locks off his forehead.

December had made it out there, and no one was around. The dogs let her in, not paying any mind to her presence, like usual. They were used to her presence. Part of her had half hoped they might give her a hard time, bark or growl at least, like they could sense her motivations for being there, but there wasn't any such event. Instead, all that happened was she petted them as much as they'd allow, and she was free to roam the yard.

Sometimes Eric wished there were more people out here, though it was a fleeting sort of wish. But the grounds of his scrap yard seemed like an obvious place to gather, he could see it in so many instances as he walked the paths between heaps and mounds, winding around stacked up car frames. The clearing ahead could hold a fire pit, people could gather round and share a drink, cook on the flames, watch the sky together.

Lucas hadn’t really slept. He’d cased the scene, trying to pull information here and there, went by the hospital, talking to whomever would chat with him then was back at the office to work on articles for the newly changed morning print. As dawn threatened to break he made his way over to the morgue, eyes open for one woman in particular, whom he had a special relationship with and whom he hoped he could get some answers out of.

December had been called in early. Very early, even. However, when she got to Fontaine Park, she could definitely see why. She’d seen some pretty fucked up things in her time. Even before she had become coroner, she’d seen her share of messed up. But this? This was something she could only describe as ‘inspired’. Because someone had to go to one hell of a lot of work to even put something like this together.

It was stupid to feel nervous about this at all, but Eric had no one to blame but himself. Killing time in Little Haven that afternoon had exposed him to the work of actual artists, of people who understood the design elements of so many different mediums. He was just an engineer, a metalworker, a guy who made a promise without thinking it through. Like usual.
