Who: Danny and Janey
When: late evening
Where: their place
By the time Danny got home he was drenched. He hadn’t stayed long at the Round, more to get out of Elle’s hair and avoid any more lectures than him being satisfied with how much he’d had to drink. That didn’t mean he hadn’t spent the walk home pulling off his flask. He’d had to do something to deal with the downpour.
scandal at the church

Where: St. Peter’s
When: afternoon
Mickey hadn’t expected the call he got at the garage, but he wasn’t one to read the paper regularly. After the angry chatter on the line though he managed to find a copy of the Echo and sunk hard into a chair as he read it. This was not good, not good at all. He promised to finish up what he was working on and start that way straight away wondering if again, the money falling from the sky had been God’s modern version of a plague of locusts.

Who: Janey/Ramona
Where: Eidolon High
When: Afternoon
Even on the days when Ramona felt stifled in school, this was always one of the bright spots in her afternoon. And while those days had been more frequent lately, today certainly wasn’t one of them. What that meant was that she was positively eager to get through the hallways where so many other students dallied and talked, because aside from possibly seeing Arienne or Jessie? Nothing held more promise than English class.

Who: Shoshannah and Open To All!
Where: The Sea and Sky Gallery
When: Evening
Shoshannah had been eagerly awaiting this night for quite some time. She was happily maneuvering the small crowd that had amassed in the gallery, making sure that she did whatever she could to ensure happiness in the overall demeanor of the showing.

I don't remember much, really, except a lot of blood...one minute I was praying, the next minute there were bodies on the ground, everyone was screaming...the woman next to me, she looked like she'd been impaled with the pipe from quite a ways away...it had to have had a lot of speed to make the impact it did. Oh God...everyone was covered in blood, and then I was running, everyone was running, trying to save themselves.

Who: Harry, Ramona, and OPEN TO ALL!
Where: Fontaine Park
When: Evening
It was horrible for Ramona to even consider, but the papers wouldn’t lie, neither would the priest who’d delivered a somber mass less than an hour earlier. An entire town gone, burnt together in some horrible sacrifice of the war overseas. It had always been a distant thing for her, an event Ramona knew was happening, but was so far removed from that it was dry and observational only, like a history or geography lesson.

Who: Elle and Janey
Where: The cathedral
When: Afternoon
Armed with several small bouquets of flowers, Elle wandered into the graveyard. The stillness of the place gave it an inherent eeriness but also an air of peace. A few birds chirruped, and Elle liked to think of them as singing songs for those who may still be able to hear them. It made it easier to believe the idea of being at rest rather than something much more morbid.
