Places to be

Andrei - bw lounging

Who: Andrei
Where: Bablyon
When: Evening

They normally didn’t let him have a go with the girls in Babylon – something about them being harder to sell once he was done with them. But, again, it had been a good day for him; lots of people very high up were extremely unhappy with the people below; and the possibility that some Babylonian tramp caused some trouble hadn’t escaped them – so here he was, just kinda letting the girls know... vividly. Lounging upon a set of sheets that were considerably redder than when he entered the room, Andrei gave the pretty little body next to him a final look-over.

Well, she wasn’t really just a body, she was just trying her damndest to be. But so many people had tried that trick before, that he knew he could illicit a lively response with a few well-placed jabs of, well, anything really…

Fun as the prospect was, and tempted though he was to pursue it, a knock on the door let him know that he had other places to be. He scowled at the interruption, briefly wondering how much fun the knocking would be with some broken fingers, but he couldn’t be too upset. Today was proving to be every bit as fun as the day before. The people at top had more messages they wanted to send, and that meant the evening before him would be even more... funner. Even if he didn’t actually care what the message was, he was always good at sending them. Heh, one could say he was really handy at getting the point across…

Getting dressed, he chuckled at his little pun as he picked up his knife from the nightstand and replaced it with a wad of bills. It was a considerable wad of dough for the whore; but the girl had more than lived up to her high endurance reputation and he wanted to show his appreciation. He walked over to the door, but stopped to appreciate one last look at his handiwork before more knocking urged him to hurry it up. Andrei scowled but his mouth curled up as he again pictured breaking the knocker's fingers; but the Syndicate was very clear that turning against a fellow, uh, co-worker was a definite No-No. Although seeing as how they were whole Hells of pissed off with the O'Malleys... maybe he could get away with it?

He chuckled at the thought but kept his hands to himself as he opened the door to greet the burly, nervous lookin' Potato Head on the other side. And, well, catching a sniff of the nervousness, Andrei couldn't help widely grinning as he reassuringly patted the guy's shoulder... with his knife-wielding hand. The guy didn't seem too appreciative or reassured with a blade so close to his face, but hey -- it wasn't as if he was trying anything.

After all: this past day or so he had already been given a very flexible pass to do what his happy little heart desired with the people the Syndicate was most disappointed with. Now was not the time for going about and breaking rules. Andrei grinned wider than a boy getting a BB gun for Christmas. Now was the time for leaving Bablyon and following the kind of orders he loved to follow...

...and that meant that he really had other places to be.
