Appearance:

A short girl at exactly 5'1", Alyson has a petite frame that resembles that of a child (lacking both a bust and hips and quite proud of it). She has long white-blond hair coupled with pale skin. Her blue eyes are often alight curiosity and excitement.

Personality:

Alyson, overall, is a positive, optimistic person. She sees no social status and treats all people with courtesy, despite their flaws. She is gentle, with no roughness in how she speaks or acts, and trusting to a fault. An intelligent young girl, Alyson enjoys sharing her knowledge, though she tends to do so at odd times, when the tidbits make next to no sense.

Her thought process is hard to follow, as Alyson lives in her own little dream world and often makes connections that work only in her mind. She enjoys getting to know people and has a fondness for animals (of whom she occasionally attempts to communicate with -- she insists that she can understand them, though what she 'understands' is what she wants them to 'say').

She absolutely despises rudeness in others and often demands an apology when people are rude to her. She believes everyone deserves politeness.

Omnisexual, far too curious to be limited to a concrete sexuality. However, Alyson is not a very sexual being, so that sort of thing isn’t often on her mind.

A dreamer/imaginative – Alyson is lost in her own world, to the point that she sometimes blurs her dreams with reality. Her imagination knows no limits and Alyson enjoys simply sitting down with a book open while creating her own scenarios (and at times, believes that she's actually experienced such things).

Curiosity – Obsessively curious to a fault, Alyson examines every situation as thoroughly as possible, often drawing inane conclusions. Alyson's curiosity draws her to situations that she knows nothing about as an attempt to learn more, leading her to interact with people she knows absolutely nothing about in hopes of expanding her views of the world. She'll often ask questions that have absolutely nothing to do with the situation at hand.

Trusting - Alyson, be it fortunately or unfortunately, always believes that people are suggesting what is best for her. For this, she'll often go along with whatever someone tells her to do. More often than not, this gets Alyson into trouble as at times, it's gotten her to wander into places she shouldn't and try things (i.e. drugs) that aren't exactly good for her.

City History:

Alyson Walker was born Nadia Lipinskii, daughter to the Russian pimp Osip Lipinskii and a prostitute that Osip grew fond of. She was taken from their family at age two after the Walkers murdered Osip.

Barely beginning to walk, Alyson took quickly to her new family and is now completely unaware that they aren’t her birth family. From a very young age, Alyson was raised and trained to be a socialite, representing the Walker family well. She grew up with a particular fondness for the arts, especially theater and writing (in specific, poetry).

Unfortunately, Alyson was odd from a young age and it quickly became apparent that she would never serve to continue to give her family a good reputation. While she was kind, she was off-kilter enough that there was no guarantee that she could stick to what they needed her to say without saying something entirely off-the-wall.

What Alyson could do, however, was get rid of bodies without asking questions of her superiors. She saved her questions for the corpses, satisfied with the answers they gave. She was able to get rid of anything that needed to be disposed of and still keep up her cheerful disposition (and oddly enough, seemed to enjoy her ‘job).

Alyson has a lop-eared rabbit, which she calls Rabbit the Second. Rabbit the First was her first rabbit, an English angora that eventually got to fat to carry around. It died of old age, though she’ll tell you it died from boredom.

Special Skills and Abilities:

Good with animals – Alyson’s compassion and gentle nature has it so that she can get along with most animals. She believes this is because she can talk to them, though this is a skill that is only in her head.

Weaknesses:

Psychosis, main symptom being delusions and hallucinations -- What Alyson believes is not always the case. She hallucinates, though oftentimes her hallucinations are things as simple as animals, and believes that what she is seeing is true reality. For those who can't see it, Alyson believes that -they- are the delusional, confused ones.

At times, Alyson will see and attempt to communicate with people who are not there as well, but this is more rare. A few 'people' are common place in Alyson's life and she often refers to 'the Queen' (a figment of Alyson’s imagination) in conversation.

Gullible – If it’s said, Alyson believes it. As she herself doesn’t often lie, she doesn’t expect it from other people and therefore trusts that whatever she is being told is either true or the right thing to do in a situation.

Distracted – Often times, Alyson’s distractions aren’t of the real world and instead things she hallucinates or perceives. She will carry on a conversation with someone, expecting that they fully understand when she stops to wave or speak with someone else. The unreal holds her attention and can capture it more quickly than reality.

Optimistic – Alyson believes that good always prevails, and that no matter what a situation will turn out for the best. As hard as things get at times, Alyson refuses to let it hold her back or keep her down. She’s resilient and can bounce back up in almost all occasions.

Intelligent (Booksmart) – With her nose often buried in books, Alyson has collected various tidbits of knowledge that most people don’t know. The tidbits aren’t particularly useful, as she finds mundane things too boring to read about.
