Appearance:

Abigail looks older than she is, which she uses to her advantage. With a full head of dark hair and deep brown eyes, Abigail's dark features set off the paleness of her skin, her favorite feature. She stands at 5' 5'' and weighs 115, but she won't be seen in public without a pair of heels on her feet.

Personality:

Nicely put, Abigal is extroverted and bubbly, but really, Abigail just doesn't know when to stop talking. Abby doesn't think before she speaks and it's often gotten her into trouble with her parents in the past. She has a tendency to be superficial, but she is loyal to those she likes. Abigail is a strong believer that the party doesn't start until she arrives, so she's generally the first on the dance floor or the first to take a drink.

Abigail is the youngest sister of the Hagel trio and by far the most rambunctious. With her eldest sister, Rachel, acting as a second mother, and the middle sister, Shoshannah, asleep for most of Abigail's life, she felt like she needed to add a little excitement to the Hagel household. She honed her need for laughter and vitality at a young age. Abigail was always running through the house, always singing at the top of her lungs (in a voice that was almost never on key), and often banged on pots and pans to create her own band.

She was fond of her sisters until Shoshannah's condition alienated her from Rachel and herself. She and Rachel went to school together, played together after school, and became relatively inseparable. While Rachel grew to believe that Shoshannah was lazy and it was her fault she slept all the time, Abigail leaned toward the fact that it was just plain weird for Shoshannah not to be able to wake up. So she spent her time running around the house, and later, running around the city with her friends despite her parents' pleas for her to stay close to home.

Now that she's out of school, she has become a relative night owl, spending all her time at the classier places in town. Her parents attempted to forbid her from going out to specific places in town like they had with her two elder sisters, but Abigail never considered the rules as the end all, be all of what she had to do. She spends her time in the places Rachel has always been too scared of and Shoshannah had always been too busy sleeping to go to, searching for the rich, handsome man that will come along and sweep her off her feet.

Special Skills and Abilities:

Despite her petite stature, Abby has built up more of a tolerance than most people her size simply because she drinks often in the social situations and places she frequents.

Weaknesses:

Spoiled - Abby is the baby of the Hagel family. She can do no wrong. She's always gotten what she wanted and it's never been a problem before. She has no concept of money and her spending habits are cause for concern to her parents.

Superficial - Abigail has a plan for herself. She is to become a socialite, one of the best this city has ever seen, and marry rich. Very, very rich. The only condition her family has placed on her is that her future husband be Jewish. Looks and financial security are very important to Abigail.

No book-smarts - Abby has a fair deal of common sense but even that can't outweigh the sheer uselessness she felt in school. She is not the sharpest tool in the shed, so she relies on good looks and flirtatious actions to get her where she wants. She's not dumb enough, though, to ignore that little feeling in the pit of her stomach when she could possibly be in trouble in certain party situations. She might be flirtatious, but she's not naive.

Easily Frightened: She is easily scared and even more easily pranked. Abigail has a fear of bugs, spiders, and creepy-crawlies in general.

Strengths:

Loyal - You'd be hard pressed to find a more loyal friend than Abby. If she gives you a, what she feels is, coveted place in her inner circle, you're there for life and she is willing to do whatever it takes to stick up for you.

Life of the party - In her mind, there is no one more fun to be around than Abigail herself. She brings the party with her and is generally up for anything you can send her way.

Spontaneous - If you want to do something at the drop of a hat, turn to Abigail. She's more than happy to accompany you on any crazy adventure you think up. She believes very strictly in the old saying 'You're only young once' so she tries to live her life to the fullest.
